The Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ Blender Product Overview

There are many reasons to own a quality blender even if you don’t like to host your own Margarita parties! A growing number of health conscious people are now eating and drinking healthier by making their own juices at home or creating nutrient packed meal replacement shakes instead of buying processed and pre-packaged products.

There is no arguing the fact that making your own juice or shakes is far better for you than drinking high calorie products packed with preservatives and excess sugars. With that in mind, it is no surprise that many options are becoming available to allow consumers to get the most out of their juicing experience.

The Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ Blender is the best example of the push towards people investing more of their money on healthier juice options made from home. This blender is truly a masterpiece!

With features like total crushing technology, which demonstrates the power and performance of this blender by allowing you to crush through ice and frozen ingredients in seconds, to nutrient & vitamin extraction this blender was designed to provide the very best in home juicing experiences. The patented Auto IQ technology makes blending easy by allowing you to make juices, shakes, frozen drinks, and more with one push of a button. Learn more about Auto IQ technology here, or watch the full review from Ninja kitchens below.

I have been using this blender for almost a year now, and I continue to be amazed at how much easier it makes my life. The design is sturdy, and you will not have issues with lids or containers breaking or the blending motor going out on you. The one touch buttons are a huge time saver and my favorite thing about this product.

Every morning, I load up my Nutri Ninja with my favorite breakfast shake ingredients, press the “smoothies” button, and then walk away to start my coffee pot. By the time I have my coffee brewing my shake is ready for me. I am a major multi-tasker and am very focused on managing my time so this little gem of a blender makes my mornings just a little happier each day.

Consider the true cost

While it is true that the Nutri Ninja blender sports a hefty price tag, it is important to weigh the true costs of your monthly spending habits for juice or other drinks. Before I decided to make my own juice at home, I used to buy orange juice, apple juice, and V-8 vegetable juice for roughly $3 per bottle.

With my wife and I both drinking the juice, we would go through a couple bottles of each per week. As you can see this can add up pretty quickly, and I was spending about $80 per month on juice from the store. That’s $80 on juice that was loaded with calories, excess sugar, and chemical preservatives that were taking me farther and farther from my weight loss goals.

By using making my own juice at home I was able to save money AND create healthier options for my family. For different juice recipes check out Ninja’s website.

While the above calculation clearly shows the value of owning the Nutri Ninja blender, this didn’t even take into consideration any health shakes or smoothies I was drinking after work outs or when I needed a quick meal replacement due to a busy schedule. This blender makes the best health shakes I have ever tasted, and I can do it all at home with fresh fruits, vegetables, or protein sources of my choice.

The Nutri Ninja blender costs more than most blenders, and it should! You will not be able to find more power and convenience in any other blender available today, and the solid design and construction will have this blender working for many years after a lesser model is thrown away.

In the event that something does go wrong with your Nutri Ninja blender, you can simply contact the manufacture for repair or replacement. This blender is covered by a lifetime warranty, and is one of the very few kitchen appliances today that can boast that fact.

Ease of use

We have already talked about Auto IQ, and one button blending options, but another thing I love about the Nutri Ninja blender is how easy it is to clean it. After making your favorite juice or blending up your favorite shake you can simply put warm water and dish soap into the container, place the lid on, and push blend.

I usually do this every time I use the blender, and put it through a thorough cleaning in the dishwasher a couple of times a week.

The Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ Blender Duo, which I own, comes with 4 separate containers that allow you to make any amount of juice or shake that you choose from sizes of 8 to 72 ounces. Each container can be placed directly onto the blending base so that you can make a quick, one serving juice or make a full bottle for the whole family.

It’s pretty obvious that I love my Nutri Ninja blender, and I hope that I have given you the information that you came here to find. If you are looking for a quality blender that will last and make it easy for you to live healthier by making your own juice at home, then you need to look no further.

Adding this appliance to your kitchen will provide you with many years of great tasting, nutritious drinks for the entire family. If you want to purchase the Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ blender you can check at your local Costco or Sam’s club for availability. Amazon keeps the product in stock, and always has the best deals for packaged bundles. If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can also get free shipping!

I hope you have enjoyed my review, and I would enjoy any comments you have!

Cheers to your health!

  1. This is definitely on my Christmas wishlist! I love how the containers can become your juice cup and it comes in different sizes too; it also offers a lifetime guarantee!

  2. I love this product. I like the color black. I love this blender because it have a powerful motor on it. You should buy this to make your life more healthier by creating juices.

  3. Sounds like a colossus blender. I think the cost is worth it if you’re an athlete or into fitness. The fact that it packs nutrients and protein ninja style all in one shake makes it sound very pleasing.

  4. Good thinking, why buy expensive ready to drink juices if you can produce it on your own by buying the nutri ninja blender. You can save a lot of money in the incoming years.

  5. I don’t have the Nutribullet or the Ninja IQ blender but am considering getting one. Your review somehow convinced me to get the Ninja blender with so many practical accessories and features.

  6. I can definitely attest to this. The Nutri Ninja is really superb. I just let it do its thing while I do mine and lo and behold, my morning smoothie is perfectly ready in no time.

  7. Wow! I actually own the regular Nutri Ninja and it is truly amazing! I can’t imagine how good this one must be. Juicing has truly changed my life.. and you are right on all accounts. Once you realize/discover that all you’re doing is packing on unnecessary calories/pounds by drinking processed juice, your life will never be the same. Things like, “from concentrate” and 5% juice are terrible options, but yet people buy them anyways out of convenience. Once you take control of your life and stop being lazy, the sky is the limit. Cheers!

    • Hi Stu, and thank you for the comment. It is always nice to meet a fellow juicer. You bring up a good point about buying juice labeled “from concentrate”. Many people think that this is frozen or bottled 100% juice, and that all you have to do is add water, mix, and get a healthy juice option. This is definitely not the case, as there are added sugars and preservatives even in the concentrate options. Thank you for stopping by the site, and congratulations on your healthy lifestyle!

  8. That’s a great looking blender! And to be honest I don’t think it’s too expensive for what it delivers. I’ve seen blenders for $600 plus. The fact that it’s easy to clean is a big selling point for me. My current blender needs pulling apart to wash the individual pieces – which sucks!

    • Thanks for the comment SC, I really appreciate the feedback! You hit on one of the things that I truly do enjoy about this blender. I really don’t like to spend a lot of time dismantling or hand washing dishes or kitchen appliances. Almost every thing that I use in my kitchen can be easily rinsed and put in the dishwasher so that all I have to do is throw in the dish washing soap and hit start. Some might call me lazy, but I feel that if we have the technology to make life easier, why not use it?

  9. Hello Allan,
I am a big fan of nutrition and eating right. This is a recent change in my life, about a year ago is when I began the journey to regain my health and lose weight.
I love the fresh juices and smoothies we can make with fresh fruit and veggies, but I have gone thru two blenders of lesser quality.
I spent maybe $100 on both so I was not surprised. You say this one comes with a lifetime warranty? That is amazing for a kitchen appliance. I will be checking this out.
    The Fat Guy

    • Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! I am always happy to hear from people that have made a recent life change to live healthy, and I wish you nothing but success in your journey.

I have spent entirely too much on blenders over the past few years, and as you can see, burning up two or three cheaper quality blenders can easily add up to the cost of purchasing the Ninja. The warranty was the main reason I started researching the Ninja products, and I am certainly glad that I did. A year and many, many smoothies later my Nutri Ninja is still going strong!

  10. Hey, Great review.

I like the sounds of the Ninja blender. I like the fact that it comes with all the extra containers so you can have different sizes and some to take away with you.

I also like the price of this one. i’m not sure how it would compare to the Vitamix but its much cheaper so thats really nice. Also from the sounds of this review it performs really well. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Robert, and thanks for stopping by the site.

The extra containers are definitely a great bonus, and I use them often. It makes it really easy to make a quick breakfast shake to grab on my way to work.

I have never owned a Vitamix, but I did some research on the product before I bought my Nutri Ninja. The two are designed very similar, but the Ninja containers can be placed in the dishwasher, while the Vitamix products claim to be hand wash only. This fact, and the cheaper price are the reason I chose the Ninja.

      Again, thanks for stopping by!

  12. The Nutri Ninja Blender, sounds like something I could use. Has everything I need for making any drink I want. Not a bad cost for what you get.

I have one question can you also, blind things like veggies with this blender without chopping them up to much to use in things like salads?

    • Hi David. I am glad you found the information here useful! You can certainly blend vegetables with the Nutri Ninja blender. I actually use frozen carrots and broccoli along with fresh tomatoes for a vegetable smoothie as a lunch snack. It works very well, and there are no chunks of vegetables like you might find in other blenders. Admittedly, there are things that I haven’t tried yet with my blender, such as the dough making option, but it has easily handled anything that I have thrown at it so far.

  13. Hi There,

I have been juicing in a good ole blender an have realized I need to bite the bullet and get a juicing blender. I’ve been looking at a few including the Ninja. I clicked on your link and really like the fact that this blender is package with several sized drink containers for this price. And compared to a few other units, its not a bad price.

    • Debra, I am glad you found some useful information here. The included containers are definitely a very popular feature of the Nutri Ninja, and I guarantee you will enjoy the convenience they offer! Thanks for leaving a comment.

  14. Hello! You have a great website with lots of valuable information offered. Many of my friends have recently bought a Nutri Ninja and I was thinking about getting one too but didn’t know if I should really spend that much money on a blender. I read several other reviews but yours helped me the most by far! This product is more on the expensive side but after reading all these positive thing about it I think it’s definitely worth the price!! I love the different cups also! Very practical. Thank you so much for sharing!!

    • Thanks for the comment Katerina! I am glad the review helped out. I am always jumping online to review something before I just run out and spend money so it makes me feel good to be able to contribute a review that might help someone. As for the Nutri Ninja, it really is a great investment for your health, and it was definitely worth the money to me.

  15. Hi Allan,
Great review of the Nutri Ninja IQ blender! Now I wish that I didn’t buy my blender last week and waited to read your review! The Nutri Ninja IQ blender seems to be a heavy duty blender and a sound investment. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Sonia, and thanks for visiting the site. It really is a very good blender, and I can vouch for the durability. We have been using ours daily for quite some time now and it looks and runs just like the day we bought it. Thanks for reading and leaving a comment!

  16. Hi Allan,
They say juicing or…”smoothing” is good because it’s too hard for your digestive system to break down peeling on vegetables and fruits!
I don’t have one of these machines but would LOVE one to improve and maintain my health . Cost is not important when it comes to that. Which recipe would you recommend though? I would need to learn healthy food preparation.

    • Hi George, thanks for stopping by. You are 100% correct. The actual peel of a cucumber, apple, and even an orange contains many nutrients that are beneficial to our body. I really wanted to make my own juice so that I would know exactly what I was putting into my body. There are many recipes out there and quite honestly all of them are good as long as they don’t involve adding any sugar, but I personally like apple & cucumber. It tastes amazing, and is very good for you as well. You might want to check out Ninja’s website where they have a recipe section. Thanks again for stopping by!

  17. Hi Allan, the Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ Blender is indeed practical and easy to use! I totally agree with you that the amount of money we spent on processed fruit drinks out there every month can let us buy a good blender to make a healthy drink ourselves. I am going to share with my wife about this! 🙂

    • Thanks for the comment Edmund! I have saved so much by making my own juice at home, it is unbelievable! I am glad you found the information helpful!

  18. How well does this blender handle really hard items? Does it crush ice cubes and such well? I have a blender now, but it just can’t handle heavy duty jobs like that.

    • Zachary, this blender handles ice cubes very well. We use it to make ice for healthy snow cones at our house. The multi-blade system powers right through many different tasks. I haven’t tried it yet, but the blender even has a setting for making dough, which is very hard on a blender motor! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

  19. hi Allan
the Nutri Ninja IQ blender looks awesome! I would love the one touch smoothie button. How practical is that?? I use a Nutribullet right now but it could use to be changed. Yes the Nutri Ninja IQ is more expensive but it seems to be a very high quality. And I love how practical all the cups seem to be. You can just use them straight up for a smoothie!

    • Hi Emily and thanks for stopping by! You have hit on one of my favorite things about my Ninja. The one touch smoothie button is what I use to make my breakfast shakes while I get coffee ready or check my email. It is wonderful. I have never tried the Nutribullet so I honestly can’t compare the two, but I like the fact that I can make either one small “to go” cup or make a pitcher of juice for the whole family with my Nutri Ninja.
